Being an elementary school librarian my ideas for Flickr:

1. "for further info..." This would be a resource for students to continue examination of a period in history for contextual reasons, images of people and places, more complete explanation of something

2. "how to..." How to make an origami crane, how to tie a knot, etc.

3. and of course as a place to post photos of goings on in and around the library

What a great service! All of a sudden I want everything on my googlereader. You know what I liked the best is the video "In Plain English". It was perfect and charming too. The pictures really helped and the script was so perfectly concise and clear, not an extra or irrelevant anything!
I need to get the librarian blogs on the reader too. I focused on artist's blogs.
I love that the world can come to my doorstep!
